Albert Lotana Lokasola

Vie Sauvage (VS) founder and president, Albert Lotana Lokasola, a native of Kokolopori, is the primary initiator of the Kokolopori Bonobo Reserve and is serving as an advisor and partner on the entire Bonobo Peace Forest project. Mr. Lokasola is former Secretary General of the DRC Red Cross and has successfully incorporated RC models of volunteerism into conservation programs. He earned his Masters degree in Biology from the University of Kisangani and was first elected to the DRC Parliament in 2011, a direct result of the positive impact of the work of VS and BCI.
